Touchless Dispensing (left)
The new Vertex Touchless dispense system works with 4 different 2-Temp PureWaterCoolersTM to keep users safe from the spread of pathogens in the workplace. There are 2 countertop and 2 floor standing models available, each with a proximity sensor that operates the cooler and provides touchless and totally hygienic operation. Simply place glass in the fill area and hold hand in front of the sensor to unlock. When the sensor beeps, the cooler is ready to dispense water. Switch hand position to the hot-water or cold-water position, dispense the water and go! The Sensor Module includes a timed dispense lockout for safety.
The touch control functions on the cooler remain fully operational. Use these cooler with RO filtration or standard carbon filtration for freshly filtered, great tasting water. Compatible Vertex coolers can be converted to Touchless operation in the field with the new Hands-Free kit. (Compatible with the PWC-450 and the PureChill models PWC-901 and PWC-9501.)

Vertex has made staying safe and sanitary easier with the updated Vertex PureWaterCoolerTM PWC-1800PD. We’ve added a new foot-switch for hands-free cold water dispensing to our most stylish 2-Temp water cooler. There is no need to touch the cooler for cold water – simply place a glass, mug or bottle in the fill area, hold the foot-switch down and watch the chilled water fill your glass. When full, release the foot-switch, take your glass and go!
Touchless Conversion Kit
Change compatible coolers to touchless operation in the field with the this kit. Includes sensor tower, replacment circuit board, connection cable, mounting tape and instructions. Ads 4.5″ to height.
